Brown has upped his average to .339, the best on the team. Pinkston is the only other Retriever over .300 at .317. AJ Wright (Cherry Hill, N.J.) leads the team with 43 RBI, 19 doubles and six home runs this year.

-UMBC is on pace to reset all records in the stolen bases categories this year, records that were last broken during the team's historic 2015 season. This year the Retrievers have stolen 109 bases which ranks second in program history, just behind the 2015 team who stole 113 bags. They have attempted 129 steals, just 15 behind first place at 144 back in 2015.

-Terrence Pinkston has stolen 27 bases, just two behind first place in a single season set by Anthony Gatto and Kevin Lachance in 2015. Blaze O'Saben (Warrenton, Va.) is not far behind with 25 thefts.
