Men's Basketball Returns Home to Face League-Leading Binghamton on Wednesday

RETRIEVER UPDATE: The Retrievers could not overcome injuries and an extended road trip as they dropped three decisions to teams that are all over .500 in league play. UMBC rallied to lead late in recent setbacks to Boston University (80-77, 2ot) and Albany (80-71), but could not sustain momentum and garner a road victory. Freshman Chauncey Gilliam averaged 15.7 ppg on the trip.

BEARCAT UPDATE: Binghamton had the weekend off after a 60-47 win at UNH on Jan. 22. Newcomer D.J. Rivera leads the America East in scoring with 19.8 points per game. Junior guard Malik Alvin netted a season-high 22 points vs. the Wildcats.

Who's Up Next:  The Retrievers begin the second cycle of America East play with a Saturday night contest at Stony Brook, then quickly return home to entertain Boston University on Monday night.
