Men's Basketball Hosts Road-Tested UNH Wildcats on Tuesday Evening

RETRIEVER UPDATE: UMBC got its first road win of the year in America East play, outlasting Maine, 73-68 in overtime in Orono on Saturday night. Darryl Proctor (19.9 ppg) scored 26 points for the second straight time against the Black Bears. Matt Spadafora's season-high 17 points and eight (of his 16) from Chauncey Gilliam in overtime buoyed the Retriever cause.

WILDCAT UPDATE: Senior guard Tyrece Gibbs, who scored 22 points in UNH's 65-47 win over UMBC on Jan. 14, leads the Wildcats with 13.6 points per game. He had 20 points in Saturday's 67-49 loss to Boston University. UNH has won two straight league road games, at Stony Brook (71-60) and at Hartford.(62-55).
