Men's Basketball Opens Long Road Trip at Vermont on Monday Night

RETRIEVER UPDATE: UMBC hit a season-high seven 3-pt. field goals and scored the most points since a 76-point effort vs. Quinnipiac (Nov. 21) in Saturday's 69-60 win over Hartford at the RAC Arena. Five of the six Retrievers that played scored in double figures, also for the first time since the win over the Bobcats. Senior guard Jay Greene led UMBC with 17 points and needs 19 to become the 15th player in school history to amass 1,000 in a career.

CATAMOUNT UPDATE: After starting league play at 0-2, Vermont has won its last two America East games on the road with double-digits victories. Junior forward Marqus Blakely led the Catamounts with 20 points in Saturday's 83-72 win at Stony Brook. Senior guard Mike Trimboli leads a potent, balanced attack with 15.6 points per game, while Blakely is just behind at 15.5.
Who's Up Next:  The Retrievers continue their journey at Boston University on Thursday, before finishing the trip in Albany on Sunday.
