The Retrievers, however, came back by scoring three-straight to cut the lead to 8-7. Junior Courtney Renehan (Mt. Airy, Md./Glenelg/Maryland) scored first at the 28-minute mark, before Bockstie and Docal netted their second goals of the day.

Drexel added another goal, the first in a six-minute period, to extend its lead to 9-7 with 10:06 on the clock before Bockstie scored her third of the day to cut the lead back down to one.

The Dragons scored two quick goals late in the period to extend their lead back to three, 11-8, but Renehan would have the last say as she bounced in a goal at the five-second mark to mark the final score 11-9.
