The UMBC’s men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete in their 16th America East Cross Country Championships this Saturday, Oct. 27 in Nashua, N.H. The meets will be held at Mine Falls Park as UMass Lowell serves as the host institution. With chilly temperatures expected, the men’s race gets underway at 2:00 p.m., while the women compete at 3:00 p.m.
In their final tune-up before post-season competition, both the UMBC’s men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete in the Princeton Invitational on Friday, Oct. 12. The men’s 8k race commences at 4:30 p.m., followed by the ladies at 5:00 p.m.
Both the UMBC’s men’s and women’s cross country teams take part in the 45th edition of the Paul Short Run, presented by ASICS, this Saturday, September 29. Lehigh University hosts the largest intercollegiate cross country meet in the nation at its Goodman Campus with approximately 6,000 athletes from nearly 450 colleges and high schools slated to compete this year.
The UMBC men's and women's cross country squads open their 2018 campaigns in traditional style, as both squads travel to Emmitsburg, Md., to take part in the Mount St. Mary's Dual 5k's on Friday afternoon, August 31. The men will compete first at 1:00 p.m., followed by the ladies.
